Fantasy Football season begins at William Hill

The new season of the Premier League began a week ago and William Hill sportsbook website has been busy with the new Fantasy Football competition. The competition is free to enter and is open to all.

If you wish to enter, first you must set up an account at William Hill sportsbook. After that, visit the Fantasy Football pages on their website and start selecting your fantasy football team of 11 players. You are given an imaginary budget of  £55 million with which to buy players, you are limited to choosing no more than two players from the same real life club for your team. 

You have the choice of two formations for your team 4-4-2 or 5-3-2. Once you have chosen your team you will be awarded points based upon how well your players do in real games over the coming season. Attacking players who score goals, or who help to score goals are awarded points, and defensive players who keep a clean sheer are also given points. However, if your team concedes a goal you will lose points. 

Throughout the season you can make up to 25 transfers but up to a maximum of five in one month. You are also limited by your budget and your team’s formation. The option to transfer players gives you the chance to adjust your team depending on how players are performing in real life; this not only gives you the role of manager, but also increases your chances of winning. 

At the end of the season the top 25 fantasy football managers will win a prize and at the end of every month the top manger will win a free £100 bet. In total there is a massive £10,000 worth of prizes to play for.
