Wolves 0-3 West Brom

Diomansy Kamara inspired West Brom to a victory over fierce rivals Wolves and a place in the FA Cup fifth round.

Kamara opened the scoring on 44 minutes when he ran 40 yards with the ball and tapped into an open goal after Mark Little and keeper Matt Murray collided.

Just after the break, Kamara found Kevin Phillips on the edge of the box and his shot deflected off the unfortunate Little into the corner.

Zoltan Gera completed the win when he headed in a Jason Koumas corner.

The visitors were good value for their victory, with Kamara central to most of their best play. Indeed, the striker could - and should - have opened his account in the 20th minute after being played in by Phillips but he poked his shot wide from six yards.

A minute later, Koumas went close after he cut inside from the left wing and hit his shot narrowly wide of the upright.

Wolves struggled to contain their opponents on the left flank and from there, Koumas and then Phillips delivered dangerous crosses that had the hosts scrambling to clear the ball.

But it was down the middle where West Brom made the breakthrough when Little lost the ball to Kamara.

The pair tussled on the run for half the length of the pitch before Murray came out of his goal to assist but succeeded only in upending his team-mate and presenting Kamara with an open goal.

It got worse for Wolves and Little, in particular, soon after the interval.

The unlucky defender could only watch in horror as his flicked-out leg diverted Phillips' shot past Murray.

And the Baggies rounded off the victory when Wolves left Gera unmarked in the box, allowing the midfielder to head in Koumas' inswinging corner.
