Well Backed Sander Tops 1000 Guineas Entries
Sander Camillo, who has tasted defeat only once in her short career, heads a list of 70 horses entered for the Stan James 1000 Guineas.
Jeremy Noseda's Cherry Hinton winner, who has not raced since winning that race in July, was the subject of some support with William Hill on Wednesday forcing the Leeds firm to make the three year old their 3-1 outright favourite.
William Hill's spokesman Ben Clarke added: "Sander Camillo has been very well supported since impressing on her last two starts last season but her only defeat came at Newmarket last May, on soft ground, so connections and punters will be hoping that the weather in the run up to the Guineas meeting doesn't mirror the weather we have had recently."
