With the news that Real Madrid have compiled a short-list of potential managers which includes several involved in English football, William Hill have opened a book on which of Madrid's Magnificent Seven will be appointed to be the club's next permanent boss.
William Hill make AC Milan's Carlo Ancelotti their 7/4 favourite and have installed Sven Goran Erikkson as 5/2 second favourite, with Marcello Lippi, the Italian national manager 7/2 third favourite ahead of 4/1 shot Fabio Capello of Juventus; Rafa Benitez of Liverpool at 7/1; Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho both 16/1.
