Tiger Woods has stretched his lead at the top of the US Money List and is now long odds-on at 1.24 on Betfair to be the season's leading earner.
His victory at the NEC Invitational and a first-prize cheque of $1.3 million means he has pocketed over $8.5 million - over $1.2 million more than nearest rival Vijay Singh.
The Fijian looks to be his only legitimate rival and trades at 3.25 on the exchange with Phil Mickelson next best and on offer at 110.
Paul McGinley's bold showing to claim an excellent tie for third in Akron means he is up to sixth in the European Order of Merit.
He can be supported at 34 on Betfair after his cause was boosted by some 284,572.30.
Michael Campbell is the narrow favourite on 2.74 with Retief Goosen 2.80.
