William Hill Just 5-2 That There Is A Stewards Enquiry In The Derby
Frankie Dettori has his best ever chance of winning the one big race that has, thus far, eluded him but will face eight Ballydoyle runners in the sport's Blue Riband tomorrow afternoon. With the storm that has continued to brew between Ballydoyle and Frankie since last year's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, bookies William Hill think that there could be a bit of argy-bargy in the race and go just 5-2 that there will be a Stewards Enquiry.
"Following last week's Monaco Grand Prix team tactics have been in the headlines again. There is always some jostling for position round the tricky Epsom bends but with so many Ballydoyle runners in the Derby field anything but victory for Frankie could result in a cry of Foul Play and a Stewards Enquiry called." commented William Hill spokesman Ben Clarke.
