Paralympic skier Russell Docker showed a return to form with a top-10 finish in the second of two super-G races in La Molina, Spain.
Docker also put in a superb display in the giant slalom, finishing 11th on a difficult technical course.
It means Docker has qualified for the season's remaining two World Cup races to be held in Europe.
Newcomer Talan Skeels-Piggins was ninth in the slalom after achieving 18th place in the giant slalom.
"With this being my first super-G of the season because of races being cancelled due to the lack of snow, this was an important race," said Docker. "The conditions were good although the run was far from perfect but I did what I had to do."
