Bookies Skating On Thin Ice
Bookies William Hill are all but certain that Dancing on Ice will be broadcast on Saturday night despite the row over premium rate phone-ins.
William Hill offer odds of 1/50 that it is shown and 12/1 that Dancing on Ice is pulled from the air.
If, as expected, the programme is shown then William Hill's odds suggest that the result will be decided by a public vote at 1/4 and offer 11/4 that the judges will make the decision of who will be evicted.
Kyran Bracken is the 1/3 odds on favourite to win Dancing on Ice with Claire Buckfield his nearest challenger at 4/1 with Duncan James and Emily Symons the outsiders at 7/1 and 12/1 respectively.
"We are desperately hoping that ITV decide to air Dancing on Ice as before, as it has been a very popular market and should it be pulled now we will have to give back all the money that has been wagered on the event, which will cost us a small fortune," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
