Tennis - Youzhny Sends Djokovic Crashing

Mikhail Youzhny won a deciding tie-break to knock fourth seed Novak Djokovic out of the Marseille Open in the first round.

 

After three tight sets, Youzhny won seven straight points in the tie-break to wrap up the match 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-0).

 

Youzhny will now face French veteran Fabrice Santoro or Spain's Fernando Verdasco in the second round.

 

Also through to the second round is France's Julien Benneteau, who beat compatriot Florent Serra 2-6 6-1 6-2.
