Bookies Slash Price Of Sizzling Weekend

Bookmakers William Hill have slashed the price of the temperatures topping 100F this weekend from 25/1 to 14/1 as punters come piling in on a sizzling Saturday or Sunday.

 

William Hill also offer 3/1 that either Saturday or Sunday will be the hottest day of 2006 and 8/1 that temperatures will exceed 100F in 2006.

 

"We think it is a little optimistic to bet on temps topping 100f this weekend but the 3/1 on offer for the hottest day of the year could be a cracking bet.", said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.

 

William Hill Weather Wagers:

 

3/1 Either the 10th or 11th June to contain the hottest day of the year.

8/1 Temperatures to pass 100F in 2006.

12/1 UK record of over 101.3F being recorded during 2006.

50/1 England To Win World Cup & temperatures to exceed 100F in UK.
