Rugby - Market Positive For Ashton's England
William Hill have cut the price of England winning the Six Nations from 4/1 to 7/2 following a positive run of cash for the England side which includes Jonny Wilkinson and Andy Farrell in the starting line up.
The bookies rate England as the 1/6 favourites to beat Scotland who are offered at 7/2.
Wilkinson is a 4/1 shot to score a try against Scotland, 7/4 to drop a goal and 10/3 to be the top tournament point scorer.
Andy Farrell is a 3/1 shot to score a try on his debut.
"There is a new steel about England and we have seen some good bets today. The improvement will come as some relief to one of our customers who placed £20,000 at odds of 11/4 on England winning the six nations in November, prior to England losing to Argentina", said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
