Snooker - Ronnie O'sullivan Signs New Deal With 888 Online Casino
Crowd favourite, Ronnie O'Sullivan, has signed an eighteen-month deal with major snooker sponsor 888 Casino.
Ronnie has re-launched his association with the same Online Casino that was first established in 2006 as he finds the form that saw him recently crowned Saga Insurance Masters champion and the exciting style of play that earned him the nickname of Ronnie 'The Rocket' O'Sullivan.
The new agreement will see Ronnie wear an 888 patch on his waistcoat at tournaments and will include use of his image rights plus a number of personal appearances. Sponsor 888 want to use these to give fans the opportunity to play snooker against Ronnie by winning online tournaments.
Rob Mitchell, UK Sports Marketing Manager at 888 said: "We are delighted to welcome Ronnie back to the 888 line-up, he is a fantastic addition to our existing stable of sponsored snooker players as well as our sponsorship of the 888 World Snooker Championship. It shows our continued commitment to the sport as we aim to give the fans an opportunity to really engage with their snooker idols."
Ronnie O'Sullivan said: "I'm chuffed to be joining up with 888, they have given snooker a great boost in the last year and it's obvious they are serious about the sport. Following the Masters my sights are now firmly set on winning the 888 World Championship when we arrive at the Crucible in April."
Hot favourite for this year's 888 World Snooker Championship, The Rocket, joins the 888 line-up of players that includes current 888 World Snooker Champion Graeme Dott, snooker great John Higgins and Chinese sensation Ding Junhui.
