Punters Set To Dine Out As Kendor Gamble Continues
Eoin Griffin's Kendor Dine continues to be well backed for this weekends Pierse Handicap Hurdle and is now just 11-2 with bookies William Hill.
The five year old, who got off the mark over hurdles at the fourth attempt last time out, had been as big as 20-1 but a steady stream of support has seen his odds tumble over the last few days.
William Hill spokesman Ben Clarke commented: "The Pierce Hurdle is very a competitive race and we've laid a few horses but Kendor Dine has been by far the best backed and is big loser. He didn't win the strongest of maiden hurdles at Leopardstown last month but does boast two Group 3 wins on the flat in France and with his trainer in red hot form the 20-1 we initially offered may turn out to be the most generous Ante-Post price we lay all year."
