Hold On To Test Betting Slips
With uncertainty surrounding the outcome of the Test Match between England and Pakistan, bookmakers William Hill are advising punters to hold on to their betting slips until an official verdict is announced.
"At the time play was suspended we were offering 10/11 Pakistan; 10/11 the draw and 14/1 England. Our rules state that we will pay out on the official result, but at the moment no-one is quite clear what that is likely to be. We are tempted to open a book on whether any further play takes place but as someone, somewhere is bound to be better informed than we are we will resist the temptation" said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe, adding "Just when you think you've seen every possible situation which could affect the outcome of a bet, along comes something different!"
