Irish 11-8 For A Hat Trick Of Grand National Victories
Bookmakers William Hill make the Irish 11-8 to win the John Smiths Grand National for the third consecutive year and 11-2 to fill the first three places home in the mighty race.
After the publication of the weights today, which are headed by Hedgehunter and Exotic Dancer, William Hill make Dun Doire, Far From Trouble, Hedgehunter, Numbersixvalverde, and Point Barrow their 14-1 co favourites.
William Hill's spokesman Ben Clarke added: "Looking at the weights last years winner Numbersixvalverde has a much tougher assignment this year but Dun Doire looks to be well handicapped, despite falling in the Beacher Chase, and Far From Trouble has impressed in his last two workouts. The Irish have dominated the Grand National recently and occupy the front five in our betting so they have a great chance to do so again and a 1-2-3 could even be on the cards."
