Will Sven Turn Five Into Ten?

With Sven Goran Erikkson celebrating five years as England manager, William Hill are offering odds of 25/1 that he will survive another five years in the job and still be boss on January 12, 2011.

Many think he is more likely to be gone before the end of this year and William Hill offer 1/3 that he is no longer England manager on January 31 2006; 6/1 that he goes during 2007; 4/1 during 2008.

"Many England supporters are torn between wanting England to do well in the World Cup for patriotic reasons, but secretly knowing that they would not be that upset should they do badly enough to result in Erikkson's departure" said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. "All the money is for him to be gone by the end of the year."
