23/1 Prem Crisis Double Cupset - 7/4 Old Firm Cup Final
Struggling Charlton and West Ham have been targetted by punters looking for FA Cup Third Round upsets - and they have been pouring bets on League One sides Nottingham Forest and Brighton to embarrass their Premiership opponents, with William Hill offering the two at 2/1 and 7/1 respectively to pull off shocks on Saturday, with the double turn-up offered at 23/1.
"Punters love to look for likely upsets in Rd 3 and there is no doubt that Charlton and West Ham, both fighting relegation and therefore perhaps not as concentrated on the Cup as normal could well be there for the taking by motivated opponents. We have already seen hundreds of small money singles and doubles on the two games" said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
William Hill have opened a book on how many Premiership clubs will play in Round Four of the FA Cup - and have made 11-13 their 8/13 favourite, also offering 6/5 14-15; 20/1 16; 20/1 7-10; 250/1 4-6.
The bookies are also offering 16/1 that two non league sides make it into Round Four; 2/1 that just one does so; and 4/11 that none at all make it.
