Ireland Favourites For Six Nations

Ireland have been shortened from 7/4 to 11/8 with William Hill to win the six nations following their hard fought victory over Wales and are now quoted at 7/4 for the Grand slam (from 10/3) and 10/11 for the triple Crown.

Wilkinson is 2/5 to be the top point scorer in the tournament with O'Gara offered at 4/1.

Italy are 1/4 for the wooden spoon, with Scotland offered at 11/4 and Wales 10/1.

"Ireland were made to work hard for their victory and the score line was perhaps slightly flattering. But they deserve their favourite tag and England will have their work cut out to beat the favourites," said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
