Alexandrova Favourite For Oaks Double
Vodafone Oaks heroine, Alexandrova, heads a list of thirteen possible runners for this Sunday's Group 1 Darley Irish Oaks. The Ballydoyle filly and current 4/7 favourite with bookmaker William Hill, will aim to become the 11th filly to complete the Irish/English double, when she lines out at the Curragh this Sunday.
In Sunday's classic, the O'Brien filly will again clash with supplementary entry and Vodafone Oaks runner up Rising Cross and third placed Short Skirt, while Ribblesdale winner, Mont Etoile and French Oaks winner Confidential Lady bring some added quality to what should be a cracking race.
William Hill spokesman, Tony Kenny said "It looks like a fascinating contest, and hopefully, like in the Budweiser Irish Derby, we'll be heralding a great champion this Sunday."
