Royal Punters Put Faith In Flying Dettori

Following Frankie Dettori's recent run of big race successes, which have caned Britain's bookies, William Hill are now hoping that the popular Italian's fantastic run is drawing to a close as Royal Ascot beckons.

In terms of turnover Royal Ascot is one of the busiest meetings in the calendar with William Hill predicting that the industry will turnover in excess of £100 million a day.

With fashion playing a huge part, throughout the week, and special markets ranging from the colour of the Queens hat on ladies day to the Antics of George Washington before, during and after the Queen Anne Stakes, punters have never had so much to bet on but there will be one common denominator for most punters - Dettori!
