Owners Against Betfair Licence Possibility

The Australian Thoroughbred Racehorse Owners Council (ATROA) and the Queensland Racehorse Owners Association (QROA) issued statements on Wednesday against Betfair being granted a licence by the Tasmanian Government.
The ATROA statement said that a decision by the Tasmanian Government to grant British betting exchange Betfair a license without addressing the integrity concerns over the operation would put the health of Australian racing at risk.
