Convergence Keeps Eye On The Ball At World Series

Convergence Communications has deploying its E-SPONDER solution in support of the St. Louis City Police Department during the 2006 Major League Baseball World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Detroit Tigers. For games held at the new Busch Stadium, Convergence has also provided high-resolution video surveillance cameras to observe the action in and around Busch Stadium.

In addition to the 2007 World Series, Convergence was recently selected to provide its E-SPONDER solution for the Tampa Bay area and the State of Wisconsin for emergency response. In Wisconsin, E-SPONDER will support 72 counties, 1,850 local jurisdictions, and approximately 5.5 million people. E-SPONDER is built on Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and Microsoft Office 2003.

Past large-scale events include the 2004 Presidential Debates, 2004 MLB World Series and Super Bowl XXXIX.
