Vegas Cup 2007 Pro-Am Golf Tournament
Known mainly for gambling, in recent years Las Vegas is quickly becoming more of a golf destination.
With courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Pete Dye and Arnold Palmer to name a few, world class golf has arrived in Vegas. Las Vegas has become the perfect place to host a golf tournament; with this in mind we are hosting the Vegas Cup 2007. This exclusive event will be played during April in perfect golf weather on perfect golf courses.
This one of kind event will feature a Pro-Am format. One professional will join four amateur partners to vie for the first ever Vegas Cup. This event will feature teams from all across the country. Who will be crowned King of Vegas and take home the Vegas Cup? The professionals will be playing for $25,000 in prize money with $7,500 going to the winning professional. Fabulous prizes will be award to the winning teams as well.
The Palms Hotel and Casino will be the host hotel for the Vegas Cup 2007. The Palms is the hippest place to be on or off the strip. With the opening of the Playboy tower and host of the Celebrity Poker Challenge, the Palms is no stranger to high profile events.
Three of the best golf courses have been selected to host the golfing portion of the tournament. Bears' Best, Dragonridge and TPC of the Canyons will be the sites of the three rounds. Bears' Best and TPC of the Canyons have most recently hosted the Las Vegas Invitational of the PGA Tour.
