Gold Cup Punters Sceptical About Kautos Jumping
Last updated: 13/03/2008 16:54
Kauto Star has been heavily backed with William Hill to not complete the Course in the totesport Gold Cup.
The seven year old, who is 7-4 favourite with William Hill for the blue riband event, has been backed from 5-2 into 7-4 with the Leeds firm who have also eased the chances of him completing out to 2-5 from 2-7.
William Hill spokesman Ben Clarke added: "We thought the 5-2 about him not completing the course would prove popular but we've been literally knocked over at that price." He continued: "Kauto Star is now the same price to not complete the course as he is to win the Gold Cup which just proves that punters think he only has to stand up to win!"
