Bodog Poker Schedule Released

Bodog is gearing up to launch one of its greatest poker open tournaments to take place throughout the fall. Still reeling in the success of its inaugural poker open from earlier in the year, Bodog is set to take the online poker world by storm once again.

Fast paced poker action kicks off September 28th and will spread throughout the following eight days. In all there will be a total of 14 tournaments played within this time frame. At stake is an impressive $650,000 prize jackpot. At the culmination of the poker event is a high stakes poker game being held on October 5th. This single event occurrence holds the largest jackpot pool for the entire eight day event. There is a guaranteed prize jackpot of $300,000 just for the October 5th event. A prize of that value has earned a place at the top of Bodog record books as the highest jackpot prize in the company history.

Online players will get a special chance to participate in this exciting poker event. In the days leading up to the start of the tournament, there will be six ‘bounty’ tournaments where first place winners will earn $109 in prize money. As those players move up in the rankings for the eight days of the poker event, they will earn points for out playing other Team Bodog members. Those reward credits can be utilized in any of the satellite tournaments to earn a spot at the ultimate Bodog competition event.

A player who qualifies for the main event on October 5th can expect to see several big-name Team Bodog professional players seated at the table as well. Among those who will be in attendance are David Williams, Justin Bonomo, Evelyn Ng and Jean-Robert Bellande.

The poker event gets underway on September 28th with a bounty tournament for a chance at a $5,000 prize package. To enter players need to play the $100 + $9 buy-in fee. There will be six more tournaments of this nature held over the next couple of days. Winners from these smaller tournaments will be entered in one of seven Championship events. As to be expected, these games bring higher buy-ins and higher prize pools. Players have the option of buying into each event separately or earning a spot by winning one of the bounty tournaments that will be played.

All of these tournament roads lead up to the main event on October 5th. This main event carries a $500 buy in fee and gives players a shot at the ultimate $300,000 prize. Each entered player will receive 10,000 in chips to play with.
