World Series of Poker - Tension Mounts
Last updated: 13/03/2008 16:41
Play has begun at the final table with all nine players in with a chance of winning the $8,250,000 first place prize, even ninth place will take away an impressive $525,934.
Philip Hilm began the day as chip leader with $22,070,000 and it may take some effort for the likes of Alex Kravchenko with $6,570,000 of chips to catch him. However, with $150,000 and $300,000 blinds and a $40,000 ante, the positions can change rapidly and one bad beat can make all the difference, hence the obvious tension in the room and slow speed of the game.
