The fifth day saw the field cut down to just 35 players with David Tran leading the chip count. Players are now guaranteed at least $285,678.
Noteable eliminations include Jeff Banghart, Ayaz Mahmood, Stig Rasmussen and Naseem Salem.
Maria Ho was the highest place woman and was eliminated in 38th place with $237,865 to show for her efforts. Kelly Jo McGlothin bust in the second hour of play chasing a flush.
