As the World Series of Poker enters the sixth round and the blinds are increased to 400 and 800, 780 players remain in the competition.
Erick Lindgren has been knocked out after nursing a short stack for more than an hour and joins Tuan Le, Chip Reese, Michael Craig, David Benyamine,Sorel Mizzi, Brandi Hawbaker and Young Phan for an early bath.
Ted Forrest however won a large pot with a Broadway Straight to move above $100,000, leaving himself in a good position going into the end of day one.
