Punters Can Bet On Ladbrokes Master

Fixed odds punters have a rare chance to stake some cash on poker this week after markets opened on the final of the Ladbrokes Poker Million II - The Masters.

Six players remain from an original field of 78 and they will play down to a winner on Friday evening, screened live on Sky Sports.

Donnacha O'Dea, of Ireland, is a familiar face around the high-stakes poker tables of Europe and he enters the final as the 5-2 favourite, with SportingOdds and Coral, to claim the $300,000 (£160,000) top prize. At the other end of the scale, Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliot is one of the most fearless players on the poker circuit with an ability to dominate play and steal pots whatever the cards he is dealt. Ulliot is a veteran of televised poker, winning the first series of Channel 4's Late Night Poker and also scooping a winner's cheque of $590,000 (£320,000) in the World Poker Open in the United States.
