Poker Players Participate In Euro Finals
An Everest Poker player from Germany came 14th at the Euro Finals of Poker last weekend in Paris. Twelve other Everest Poker players qualified through online satellites and were seated amongst famous poker players such as Michel Abecassis, Thomas Fougeron, Pascal Perrault, Dave McColclough, El Blondie Jan Boubli, Stephane Cohen, Anthony Lellouche, John Duthie, Mats Iremark and Vikash Dhorasoo.
After a night out on the town with Everest Poker, the twelve players sat down to face 158 other participants at one of Europe's most prestigious poker tournaments with a buy-in of 3000, 10,000 in chips and blinds going up every hour.
Two Everest Poker players from Germany made it to day two of the competition with 54 players left. Damian Rzezniczek started the day with 23 000 in chips was 45th with AQ versus AK. Oleg Drews started day 2 with 34 000 in chips and made it to the semi-final with 145 000. He finished at an amazing 14th place and went home with a satisfying performance and 4410 euros.
