World Series Of Poker (WSOP) Ahead Of Schedule

As this session of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament draws to a close, there are around 150 remaining contestants with recent eliminations receiving $47,006 each.
Play is well ahead of schedule as it was originally intended to reduce the number of remaining players to 300 today.
Alex Balandin has dropped down to fourth with Jamie Gold reclaiming the top spot he held on day 2 of the competition, now having a lead of almost 1,800,000 chips over Michael Binger. Other long term chip leader Dmitri Nobles has dropped to 19th position.
Blinds are now 5000 and 10,000 with antes of 1000.
Some notable eliminations are defending champion Paul Sexton (256), Joe Hachem (238), Andres Korn (199), Rick Solomon (196), and Phi Nguyen (164).
