According to the latest news the leader Phil Ivey has even placed a bet on himself that he will win a bracelet during the poker rounds.  Last year he wagered several million dollars on himself for the WSOP main event.   This year he is doing the same that he will win the tournament.  It should not be a surprise that many are already backing him for this win.  The main event can be difficult to predict based on the number of runners and the confirmed entries.  That makes it difficult to know who you need to bet on in the game.
