Fundraising will support Sue Ryder Care One of the UK’s biggest bingo operators, Gala Bingo, has announced that over the next year and a half, they will be raising money for the charity Sue Ryder Care. The Sue Ryder Foundation provides care for people suffering for serious and terminal illnesses, such as cancer, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, motor neurone disease, dementia and brain injury. They also provide essential support for the family of such patients. They aim to improve the quality of life for those suffering from terminal diseases and operate in the UK and across Europe. Bingo has a history of charity fundraising and many organizations hold bingo nights as a way of raising cash for good causes. The charity campaign will involve all of Gala’s venues including bingo halls, online sites and the Gala casino as well as international operations. Gala intends to raise £1 million for Sue Ryder Care, the charity chosen by Gala employees. The charity are thrilled with the campaign, which will enable them to continue their work and increase the number of hours of care provided every year. Document Actions |
