Final eight odds It’s been an exciting few weeks of the Euro 2008 championship. So who’s the favourite to take the trophy? Hosts Austria and Switzerland are already out, disappointing the home crowds, as well as the reigning champions Greece and 2006 World Cup winners Italy. Current favourites in the last eight are Spain and Holland, both at 3/1 and with strong track records. Holland took the Euro title in 1988. Portugal also has good odds at 9/2, with Croatia 7/1 and Germany at 11/2. Russia and Sweden are outsiders at 28/1 and 33/1 respectively. You can also take a bet on the top goalscorer of the tournament, choosing from Spaniards David Villa and Fernando Torres, Lukas Podolski for Germany, Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal or Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy among others.
