Robbie Williams marries Ayda Field at secret ceremony
Despite attempts to keep the ceremony secret, pictures have surfaced of a private wedding ceremony at Williams’ Beverly Hills mansion.
Reports suggest that pop star Robbie Williams married his girl friend of three years Ayda Field at his Beverly Hills mansion. Despite apparent attempts to avoid media attention reports and pictures from a ceremony have appeared online over the last few days.
James Desborough from News of the World told BBC 5 live that the paper has photos taken from a helicopter. He said, "We got pictures of Ayda looking astonishingly beautiful going up an aisle which was created in the back garden of his Mulholland home." He went on to say that, Williams was "dressed in a tuxedo really looking very dapper," he added.
The couple has been together for more than three years but last year Williams denied his month’s apparent confirmation of his engagement. During an appearance on a Australian radio show the singer jokingly asked her to marry him.
The pair were introduced to each other by mutual friends, Williams once told chat show host Jonathan Ross that he thought he would remain forever single until he met Field.
He said to Ross, "I was introduced to Ayda and things just changed. She's a wonderful person and I'm in love. She's really broody and I'm getting there."
Field has had a reasonably successful career as an actress appearing in several American TV series including ‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘Studio 60’ on the Sunset Strip.
Despite Williams recent announcement that he was rejoining Take That in order to record new material and go on tour it is not thought that his bandmates were at the ceremony.
Williams has won 15 Brit Awards and has previously been connected to model Rachel Hunter and was also engaged to the singer Nicole Appleton.
