Valentine’s Day The Movie

Not since Pretty Woman has director Garry Marshall pulled together a list of such high profile stars. Featured in this film are none other than Julia Roberts herself (from Pretty Woman), Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx, and Shirley MacLaine!

As far as romantic comedies go, this one has it all. There’s a dynamic plot based around the life of a local Los Angeles florist, who acts as confidant and intermediary to many of his customers. There’s plenty of masquerading going on with the school teacher who is really someone’s mistress, a receptionist who’s really a telephone sex operator and a macho footballer who’s hiding a secret about his real sexual inclination.

There are loads of coincidences as single and coupled characters intertwine and finally cross paths together at an “anti-valentine’s day” dinner party at an Indian restaurant.

Valentine’s Day follows the stories as they are told through those finding love and those falling out of love on this day of all days.
