Simon Cowell on Botox
Simon Cowell has become one of the UK’s best known faces in the US and many other countries around the world. His idea to televise a talent competition has succeeded beyond measure. Simon is busily making pots of money and is living the life of a celebrity. This is exactly what the participants of his hit show all desperately want. They are all looking for fame and fortune and their ticket to their dream coming true is Simon’s show Pop Idol. It was an enormous hit from day one in the United Kingdom and the Americans can’t seem to get enough of their version. Many other countries around the world are all showing their own local versions of the show. This means Simon just keeps pulling the cash.
The show is so successful because it is the viewers who do the voting. The panel of judges always includes one that is heartless to mimic Simon Cowell’s scathing remarks to the participants. The American Pop Idol show is presented by Ryan Seacrest. Ryan is thirty three years old and Simon is forty eight (so he says). Viewers around the United States and the world take great delight in knowing there is no love lost between Ryan and Simon. The two are always taking digs at one another and the latest is from Ryan.
According to the popular American presenter Simon Cowell is full of Botox. Ryan says this is the reason Simon ‘struggles to display emotion’. He revealed this during a recent appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ms Degeneres asked him if viewers could expect to see Simon being his usually ‘angry’ self. Ryan poked fun at Simon’s ‘love for Botox’. He told Ellen it was impossible to tell the difference ‘between Simons’ happy face and his angry face’. Ellen happens to think Simon Cowell is a great guy.
Simon has never been coy about his ‘love for Botox’. He admits he works very hard to look as good as he can. He believes there’s ‘nothing wrong’ with it. According to Simon he has never been under the knife for cosmetic purposes. The television success also pointed out that he is not ‘obsessive’ about using Botox. He believes most city men use Botox so what’s the problem? Simon takes a variety of vitamins and he does stick to a regular exercise regime.
He is also on the panel of the X Factor along with Danii Minogue. She has also admitted to using Botox. Her reason is the same as Simon’s. Danii says she wants to ‘be the best she can’. According to Danii it’s up to the individual. She also said Botox didn’t make her a happier person; it just makes her look good.
Ryan Seacrest has been presenting American Idol since 2001. He has been captured on film in a romantic clinch with Teri Hatcher. He is also a radio host for London’s Capital FIM. The bad feeling between Ryan and Simon does not carry through to real life. The two do hook up to support good causes.
