Princess Bea Does Try Hard
The daughters of ‘Randy Andy and Fergie’ want to be treated ‘just like any other students’. Princess Beatrice has enrolled to attend Goldsmiths University in London. Just before doing so she went out partying with David Clarke, her current boyfriend. He is on the payroll of Virgin boss Richard Branson. Every now and then a rumour pops up about Sir Richard’s daughter being a suitable match for Prince William. Unlike Wills’ current girlfriend Kate, Sir Richard’s daughter has ambition – she actually is going to be a hardworking vet.
Beatrice and her sister Eugenie were also seen out clubbing. The two sisters were spotted at Bungalow 8 and then at Kingly Club. They stayed there until about half past one in the morning.
How many ‘normal students’ go to their studies with a security guard? Most grating of all to a lot of Brits is that they aren’t paying for it. Wherever the two sisters choose to go they have a security escort. The bill is footed by the ordinary tax payer who most certainly does not live the life of luxury that these two are enjoying. Beatrice had no problem showing just how privileged she is by using a Louis Vuitton bag for her student stuff. Not to mention, her students ‘digs’ will be none other than St James Palace.
Beatrice had been looking around London for a flat. But apparently she decided not to. The reason given was her concern for the taxpayer. Having a security guard twenty four hours a day every day would cost the taxpayer far too much. She is going to make use of living quarters at the palace. When the weekend comes around she will go to Royal Lodge to stay with her dad in Windsor. These are such tough choices for a student.
Bea has gained a lot of respect due to her determination to succeed at her studies. She has struggled with ‘severe dyslexia’ all her life. Beating all the odds the princess was awarded an A and two Bs for her A levels exam. Coming from a family without any notable academic achievement, Beatrice has done exceedingly well. She chose Goldsmiths University because it is one of the few institutions offering her course of choice. But the university is well established since 1843. It does need some sprucing up and the location of New Cross does not attract the glitterati.
It has to be said that Bea did not attend the ‘Freshers Fortnight Pub Quiz’ where students can get a pint for 1 pound. She did go to Boujis Nightclub and she was accompanied by her sister Eugenie. There you can enjoy a ‘Crack Baby’. This cocktail is made up of fresh juice, vodka and topped with champagne and does not cost 1 pound. Her celebration was somewhat different from the one at the ‘Student Union’s Bar’ at Goldsmiths. But Bea did leave the posh nightclub a lot earlier than her friends.
She got to Goldsmiths on time in the morning looking fresh and saying she ‘was looking forward to her first lecture’. All her friends say Bea is ‘not a snob’ and that she will cope very well at Goldsmiths. But her security guard does make it that much harder.
