It looks likely that Ray has done the business and beaten fellow X Factor contestant Ben in their battle to top the charts this weekend, with William Hill slashing Ray's price from 1/2 to 1/7 as punter pile on the pint sized crooner.
"Our original thoughts were that the battle would be far closer, but Ray is way ahead and with mother's day at the weekend the gap could widen further," said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
Elsewhere Cindi has backed down from 10/1 to 6/1 to win Eurovision's Making Your Mind Up with Justin Hawkins the 7/4 favourite.
