Tony Blair To Team Up With Comic Tate
Tony Blair is being lined up for a possible encounter with comedienne Catherine Tate's stroppy teenager, Lauren, it has been reported.
The Prime Minister is set to appear in a skit with Lauren - known for her catchphrase "Am I bovvered?" - for Comic Relief.
Downing Street was said to be in talks with the production company, Tiger Aspect, about Mr Blair's appearance, due to be screened next month.
One of the ideas under discussion was said to be a visit by Lauren to No 10.
A No 10 spokeswoman said: "The Prime Minister tries to do something every year for Comic Relief but no decisions have been made yet about this year."
Mr Blair has previously lent his voice to a cartoon version of himself in The Simpsons - greeting Homer Simpson at Heathrow Airport.
He also appeared with impressionist Jon Culshaw - who was impersonating him at the time - for the Children In Need appeal.
