You Bet Kate Thornton Days Are Numbered

William Hill have priced up Kate Thornton's chances of retaining her job for the third series of the X Factor and make her odds on to get the sack at 2/5 and offer 7/4 that she will hold on for the X Factor 3.

William Hill make Patrick Kielty and Dermot O'Leary their 3/1 joint favourites to be offered her job, whilst Tess Daly is offered at 10/1 to cross the floor from Strictly Come Dancing.

"The X Factor has lost some of its sparkle and it looks like Kate Thornton will be the scapegoat. My money would be on Tess Daly to do the unthinkable and defect from Strictly Come Dancing to the X Factor as no one could enjoy playing second fiddle to Bruce." said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.

Meanwhile, the MacDonald Brothers are the 7/4 favourites to be the first band voted off the X Factor on Saturday night and Georgina Bouzova is favourite to get the boot from Strictly Come Dancing.
