Big Brother Bookies Running Scared Of Shilpa

Bookies William Hill are getting ready for what could be the most one sided betting days in reality TV history with punters expected to back Shilpa off the boards in the run up to the final.

In the last week, William Hill have seen a massive run of money for Shilpa Shetty to win including bets of £9,000, £7,500 and £6,000 and should she win the bookmaking industry will paying out in excess of £1 million.

"Just a week ago you could get 5/1 on Shilpa winning and she is now the 2/9 favourite. We have drafted in extra staff and expect to turnover well in excess of £100,000 in the final few hours before the winner is decided," said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.

Jermaine is the 5/1 second favourite with Dirk offered at 6/1; Ian 33/1 and Danielle a country mile away at 100/1.

No Surprise As Jo Gets Big Brother Boot

Jo O'Meara has joined a depressing list of 1/50 nailed on favourites (Jade, Jackie and George Galloway) after she was evicted from the Big Brother house.

One Glasgow based William Hill customer was so sure of her demise that he staked £20,000 on Jo going, for which he won just £400.

"We are now offering 8/1 that Jo and Jade become flatmates, surely nobody else will want to talk to them," said William Hill's spokesman.
