Derby hero Authorized has been installed as the 8-11 favourite by William Hill for this weekends Coral Eclipse at Sandown. Peter Chapple-Hyam's talented three year old, who will be taking on older horses for the first time, heads a twelve strong entry that includes George Washington and Sir Michael Stoute's Group One winner Notnowcato.
"Its a fantastic line-up but with the ground easing by the day Authorized is likely to attract a lot of support because of his racing post trophy form on heavy ground. At the moment he is solid at 8-11 but if the current inclement conditions continue in the London area we could see Authorized sent off a very short price for what looks such a competitive race." commented William Hill's Ben Clarke.
