Charlotte Church's Baby Have Longest Name?

A William Hill punter has bet £10 that Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson will follow the trend of naming babies after geographical locations, like Brooklyn Beckham, Paris Hilton and Ireland, daughter of Kim Basinger, by opting for the longest place name in Wales and, indeed, the world - Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

"The customer, who is from Cardiff, will collect £1000 if she is right. She wrote to us to ask for the bet, but I'm confident she has no inside information" said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. "They will probably have to get a specially expanded birth certificate if they do decide on this name."

Since Charlotte Church officially confirmed her pregnancy, William Hill say that customers are already clamouring to bet on the long term future of her son or daughter.

The bookies are quoting odds of 100/1 that the baby - male or female - will grow up to play rugby for Wales, 100/1 that the baby will be born during one of Wales' Rugby World Cup matchs, 66/1 that the baby will grow up to have a number one hit single, 33/1 to grow up to become a clergyman/woman, 20/1 that the baby's first word is a swear-word and 8/1 to be born on the day of a Welsh rugby union World Cup game.

William Hill also offer odds of 6/1 that the baby will be called David, as the announcement was made on St David's Day.
