You Bet There Will Be An Eighth Potter Book

William Hill continue to see a large volume of bets for JK Rowling to write an eighth Harry Potter book cutting the price from 8/1 to 6/1 in the last 24 hrs. "The money seems to be based on the fact that people believe that JK will miss Harry too much and potential pressure from publishers and fans," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

 

Their biggest bet is from Ian Rogers, a Harry Potter nut from Ipswich has placed an £800 wager with bookies William Hill that JK Rowling Will write a eighth Harry Potter book before the end of 2010. Hill's have given odds of 8/1 and should he be proved correct he will win £6,400.
