Don't Bet On A Drought
Despite the fact that the South East is experiencing the worst drought since the 1930s, bookmakers William Hill are offering 5/1 to anyone who can predict the next two consecutive rain-free days at the London Weather Centre.
William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams said: "The South East may well be suffering from a drought but every time we look out of the office window it seems to be raining. The 5/1 may sound a big price but obviously the weather is very difficult to predict and we will be surprised if many get it right."
Meanwhile, William Hill continue to see money for snow over the Easter Weekend (snow to fall at any time between Good Friday - Easter Monday) and offer 6/1 for snow in Glasgow and 16/1 for Snow in London or Cardiff.
