Place Your Bets On The Christmas Top Ten
Bookies William Hill have released their predictions for the Top 10 this Christmas Day, and it's looking good for whoever wins X-Factor, as they've been given odds of 2/5 on being top of the pops.
At No 2 they've placed Nizlobi's 'JCB Song' with odds of 9/2, and Westlife and Diana Ross are third, at 9/1. Girls Aloud limp in at fourt with 'See The Day' and a whopping 25/1 against their being top.
In fifth place, with odds of 10/1 - better that Girls Aloud but still lower in the predicted chart, confusingly enough - are the England Cricket team and Keedie with their version of 'Jerusalam'.
Robbie's 'Advertising Space' only manages No 8 and is 20/1 against being the winner.
A spokesman for HMV says: "This is potentially one of the most open races for the Christmas No.1 in years. There's a very strong chance it will be the 'X-Factor' winner, but a lot depends on who actually wins it and, with the single being released midweek, whether it can make up for two days missing sales by the time the chart is announced on Christmas Day."
