A Kidderminster mother has lost a bet that her fourth child would complete a date sequence of births and be born on 29 December, winning her £800.
Wendy Legister, 38, has given birth in the past on 26, 27 and 28 December and had placed a £29 bet at 29/1 that the run would be extended for her new baby.
But the infant was not born on the day, so Mrs Legister, a waitress, lost out.
William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe said on New Year's Day that she had not yet had the child.
