A Posh and Becks Birthday Bash

Santa Monica was the location for a fancy birthday party. Posh and Becks had a combined party to celebrate their special days. Victoria Beckham arrived early to welcome her guests. She looked very posh in a ‘strapless white frock with black rose print’. Her hair, skin and teeth gleamed with upmarket treatments and potions. Hubby David Beckham was the ultimate host decked out in an outfit that suitably complemented Victoria’s. He wore a ‘black and white checked three-piece suit’ to perfection. Their choice of venue was Via Veneto and it fitted this particular birthday crowd of A-listers.

Ordinary mortals have to make the most of having one day to celebrate a birthday. Victoria Beckham, on the other hand, makes do with five. It all started the night before her birthday. She had a few friends that included Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale and husband to a dinner at Beso the latest restaurant in Hollywood. Her actual birthday was set aside for the family. This meant Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and husband David got to eat at the Pink Taco situated in a mall. Then there was the Via Veneto Restaurant bash. Two days left and Posh still has not revealed her next move.

There has been speculation in the media concerning the relationship between the powerful Beckhams and the Cruises. It was believed that the previously close friendship was turning chilly. It had been hinted that Tom Cruise was displeased because his wife, actress Katie Homes, was losing too much weight under Victoria’s influence. If this is so, poor Katie seems to be under the control of both husband and new best friend. However, at Via Veneto they were warmly received and arrived, bearing gifts. The biggest pressies were brought along by Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale. Their card simply said to ‘D and V’.
