Cameron Election Hopes Not About To Go Up In Puff Of Smoke
Bookies William Hill say there is no indication at all that punters believe the Conservatives' chances of winning the next General Election will be adversely affected by any revelations about David Cameron's private life.
"We have seen no rush of cash for Labour to win the next General Election and as far as we can see there is no prospect of Cameron's Election hopes going up in a puff of smoke" said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
The bookies make the Conservatives 4/7 favourites - the shortest odds they have been since Cameron became Leader - to be the largest single Party after the next General Election, while Labour are offered at 5/4 - the longest odds they have been since they took power.
The Lib Dems are 80/1 outsiders and the chances of a Hung Parliament rated at 7/4.
